Fleming Lorenzo Kennedy

Fleming, the first child born to the late Fleming Lorenzo Kennedy Sr., and Della Indianna Miller Kennedy, December 22, 1917 in Gregg County, Kilgore, Texas.Joined the Mount Moriah Church at an early age, and later served as deacon, trustee and general treasurer of the Church for many years. Received education from Mount Pleasant and West Point Elementary schools,Jackson High School, graduated from CB Dansby High School,attended Butler College, Bishop College,received a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in science. Master of Education Degree with a major in supervision. Post graduate work at Prairie View, Texas Southern University, and Stephen F. Austin University. State Vocational School Dallas, Texas, studying auto mechanics. Affiliations include: Mason and past Master of Free Temple Lodge number 215, Gregg County, Texas State Teachers Association, National Teachers Association, and life member of Disable American Veterans' Association.Fleming united in holy matrimony to Ruth Annie Mosely, July 21, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas. To this union, two children were born; Herbert Lorenzo Kennedy and Barbara Ruth Kennedy-Krajca. He was preceded in death by one sister,and three brothers. He leaves to cherish his memories,his devoted wife, two children, three grandchildren,and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren,nieces, nephews, and friends.
