Ernest Lee Jackson was born on August 28, 1938 to the parentage of Horace Jackson and Mae D. Walden in Kilgore, Texas.

Ernest attended C.B. Dansby School in Kilgore, Texas. At an early age he united with the Macedonia Baptist Church and later joined the Mt. Erie Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Jacqueline Smith.

He leaves to mourn: His loving wife, Polly Jackson; One daughter Latana Jackson; Two sons, Earnest F. Jackson (Lavada) and Tony Bradford Jackson. One sister Joan Lewis. Eight Grandchildren: Stepheon Jackson (Yarbe), Saniah Henderson, Kimberly Bradford, Kevin "Poochie" Young, Tanovia Stewart, Chelsea Bradford, Arrious Bradford, and Tony Bradford Jr. Six Great-Grandchildren: Khamila Bradford, Kevonte Burnley, Ara Jackson, Kirstynn Stewart, Kynedi and Kynlei (R.I.H). Two Great-Great Grandchildren: Jazmine McCuin and Gazyria Smith. A host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
