Erma Jean Thompson

Erma Jean Lynch Thompson was born February 20, 1935 to John and Bulah Lynch in Natchitoches, LA.

She attended Kilgore Colored Schools. After graduating she attended Prairie View A&M. In 1963 she accepted Christ as her personal savior and worshipped him in spirit and true until her demise. She was united in marriage to the late Coleman J Radford and to this union one son was born. Two sons precede her in death. She was the owner and operator of Dean’s Fried Chicken and a seamstress at Kilgore Manufacturing. She retired after 20 years of service.

She went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 22, 2024.

She is preceded in death by parents, sons Rodney M. Lynch, Marlon R. Lynch, brothers J.D. Lynch, Levon Lynch, Ray Lynch, sisters Mae D. Crockett, Christine J. Camp.

She leaves to mourn: one son Michael D. Radford; grandchildren Gerald D. Roberts, Devon K. Radford (Kira), and Desiree S. Radford; great-grandchildren Ger’Stora Roberts and Gavin Roberts; great-great grandchildren Kyleigh Cook, Jared Dorsey Jr., and Jaylin Dorsey; Four sisters Earline Lynch Jackson, Margie D. Square, Fay Walton, and Randi Marie King; one brother Ezell Lynch (Mennie), aunts Thelma McGaskey-Thompson and Bertha McGaskey-Ellis; brother-in-law Robert Camp, and a host of other relatives and friends.
