Elfrida Von "Free" Mitchell Smith

Mrs. Elfrida Smith "Free"was born in Kilgore, TX. on August 8, 1958 to Wylie Mitchelland the late Iva Colbert Mitchell.Life on this earth came to and end for Elfrida Mitchell Smith on June 12, 2013. She graduated from Kilgore High School and worked for several years at Kilgore Nursing Center. She united with Westview Church of Christ at an early age but later joined New Hope Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband and mother. She was married to Larry Smith and to this union three children were born. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving father, Wylie Mitchell, two daughters, Lataisha Smith and LaShonda Smith, one son Brandon Smith, five grandchildren, Emeshia Smith, Xzavion Smith, Isis Smith, Branalyn Smith, and Alaya Holt, four brothers, Calvin Mitchell (Barbara), Robert Mitchell (Diane), Alvin Mitchell, Steven Mitchell,five sisters, Lois Cheeks (Thurmond), Patsy Hicks, Dale Sheffield, Linda Williams, and Jennifer White, two special friends, Vickie Henderson, and Charles Winston. She was blessed to have a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
