Elder Micheal Carl Mosley

Micheal Carl Mosley was born July 22, 1962 to the late A.B. Mosley and Emma Tolbert Mosley in Smith County. He attended and graduated from Chapel Hill ISD in 1980. He received a certificate from Tyler Junior College for his completion of basic Security Officer training and firearm qualification training in May 1993. He accepted Christ at an early age, while a member of Gloryland C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Elder James Elder He accepted the call from God to preach The Word. He later joined County Line C.O.G.I.C., under the leadership of Elder Wade Wilks where he served as the Associate Pastor and worked diligently and faithfully until his death. He received his Ministers license in July 1998 and was ordained as an Elder in July of 1999. He was appointed as the Starrville District Secretary in 2004. Micheal was a commissioned Security Officer with Southwestern Security, covering post in all of East Texas. His post was the U.S. Attorneys Office in Tyler, Texas. He was the Supervisor of all post assigned. Micheal met and married the love of his life Lois Mumphrey in August 1996. He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother Jerry Mosley. Micheal was a loving person and will be missed by many. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lois Mumphrey Mosley of Winona, TX.; his mother Emma Mosley of Winona, TX; one sister Patsy Luckey(Melvin) of Milton, Fl.; three brothers, Alon Mosley(Janice) of Kilgore, TX,; A.B. Mosley(Viola) and Leonard Mosley(Joanne) all of Winona, TX.; other relatives and friends.
