Dorothy Ruth Lacy

Mrs. Dorothy Lacy was born March 2, 1952 to the parentage of Willie and Rosetta Brown. She attended C.B. Dansby in Kilgore, Texas. She was a member of Harmony Pirtle Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She loved to do yard work, painting house, walking the track, word puzzles, going to garage sales, listening to blues, watching tv, and playing checkers. She is preceded in death by her mother Rosetta Brown and grandson William Wheat. She leaves to cherish her husband Burnett Lacy Sr., her children Carolyn Brown, Lonnie Brown, Burnett Lacy Jr., Tasha Lacy, and Derrick Lacy; sixteen grandchildren Jessica Wheat, Qwenic Lacy, Svaan Lacy, Nakia Brown, Na'Torrious Ross, Raven Lacy, Jaylon Lacy, Kennieth Lacy, La'Keitha Lacy, Josiah Lacy, Jacquelyn Washington, Alexis Chicalus, Jaylynn Smith, D'Shailynn Lacy, Cameron Reed, Deiontae Lacy; five great grandchildren Qwenic Lacy Jr., Lania Lacy, Alonnah Lacy, Simya Lacy, and Mila Lacy; Siblings Ruthie Mayfield, Larry Brown, Parie Williams, and Bertha Nelson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
