Dollie Mae Luster

She was born November 11, 1917 in Jefferson, TX. to the late Willard and Prudie Wright. She had been a resident of Kilgore, TX. for the past 60+ years. In 1944 Dollie became an employee for the Allums and Downs Medical Clinic in Kilgore for approximately forty five years. Her career ending with the closing of the clinic in 1990. Mrs. Luster's love of life was Church and her family. She died January 26, 2010 at The Willows of Kilgore. She was preceded in death by parents, Willard and Prudie Wright; her husband of 56 years Allen Luster, two sons Lyman J. Luster, Jerry N. Luster Sr.,siblings, Louise Wright, Ida McLean, Rev. Warren Wright, Lee Andrew Wright, Ausbon Wright, Alice Wright. She is survived by a loving daughter, Ermia J. Greer, four grandchildren, Regina Greer Wayne, LaSalle Greer, Adrian Goodacre and wife Amaris, and Jerry Luster Jr., six great-grandchildren, K'Jheryion Luster, Jamal Luster, Roosevelt Goodacre, Ellen Goodacre, Ashley N. Greer, Willie Goodacre, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
