Darrell M. Washington

Darrell was born on November 16, 1963 and departed this life on December 26, 2022.

Darrell attended Hallsville High School. He was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church where he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He worked at Trinity Industries in Longview, Texas for about 7 years. He married Edwina Cox and purchased his first home. Darrell was a great brother and always fun to be around. He will truly be missed by his family and many friends for his loud mouth that echoed throughout the house when he was around rather it was watching the Dallas Cowboys play or just playing dominoes.

Darrell is preceded in death by his mother Nellie Fuller Washington, father, brothers Willie Washington and Morice Johnson Jr., and sister Ineta Sumner.

Darrell leaves to cherish his three brothers Rev. Larry L. Washington (Shelica Washington) of Longview, Texas, Bobby Washington (Sally Washington) of Longview, Texas, and Ruben Washington of Longview, Texas; four sisters Marie Crayton of Hallsville, Texas, Tasha Johnson of Hallsville, Texas, Wilma Johnson of Longview, Texas, and Linda Jimerson (Felton) of Longview, Texas; along with a host of family and friends.
