Constance B. Strong

Constance Bennett Strong, affectionally known as Connie, was born on January 29, 1934. She was raised by the late Octavia and T.B. Strong. She joined her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 3, 2022.

She attended North Chapel Schools. She was baptized at an early age and was a longtime member of New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She later moved her membership to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where she attended until her health declined.

Constance moved to California and resided there for many years before moving back to Texas where she remained until her last days. She was a sharp dresser and had a fond love for movies, music, cruising around town listening to her books on her cassette player, talking on the phone, and most of all her animals. She adopted, loved, and nurtured for many throughout the years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved aunts.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved animals and a host of family and friends. Special thanks to her caregivers at Cheerful Givers and Mr. Marcus Strong for being there with her during her last days.
