Clotiel Warren Campbell

Mrs. Clotiel Warren was born July 25, 1930 in Winona, TX. to the parentage of the late Cary Warren II.and Elizabeth Sherfield Warren. She attended Dunbar Public School, where she was named Miss Dunbar. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1947. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Warren Chapel CME Church. She served in many capacities, Church Mother, Stewardess President, Missionary, Choir and Usher Board. She united in holy matrimony to James E. Campbell, Sr. January 9, 1951. James and Clotiel were blessed with fifty-nine years of marriage. To this union eight children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents,four brothers, Booker T. Warren Sr., Cary Warren II., Ezie L Warren, Clarence Lacy; Six sisters, Bernice Hicks, Noble Wilson, Johnnie Timms, Eddie Shotwell, Libbie Samples, and Beatrice Elder. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of fifty nine years, James Earl Campbell Sr., four daughters, and four sons, Linda Gail Boson(Morris),James E. Campbell Jr.(Brenda),Billy W. Campbell(Beverly), Maxine L. Davis(Rayford),Edward L. Campbell(Tina),Donnie R. Campbell(Marvel),Clothilda Stewart(Michael),Benita M. Caddell(Vernon); Four sisters, Verna Mae Hampton, Sara Jones(Louis),Dora McGowan, Dorothy Johnson(John). Twenty-one grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one God-daughter. A host of other relatives and friends.
