Claude M. Ashley

Claude Melvin Ashley was born February 22, 1956 in Kilgore to the late Claude Sr. and Elsie Sibley Ashley.

He was a member of Wayside C.O.G.I.C., and attended Kilgore Schools where he played football and ran track. Claude graduated with the Class of 1975, also graduated from Kilgore College.

He had worked in the steel industry.

He passed away December 24, 2016 in Kilgore. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Carolyn Cheney.

He leaves to cherish his memories three brothers: Monie Ashley, Marvin Ashley (Lanetta), Steven Ashley (Lisa) all of Kilgore, Texas; three sisters: Mildred Ashley, Eloise Ashley of Kilgore, Texas and Veronica Tutaj (Michael) of Austin, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
