Cherrie Jewel Slider

Cherrie Jewel Slider , the second child born to the late Alvin Don Kennedy and Eva Lois Slider. Cherrie was born January 20, 1971 in Kilgore, Texas. She became a member of Moses Chapel CME Gilmer, Texas.

She graduated from Kilgore High School in 1989. She worked as a CNA for ten years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Javar Slider, and brother Barry Slider.

She leaves to cherish her memories to: her children Barry Don Kennedy of Gilmer, Texas and Claudia Lois Taylor of Kilgore, Texas; one sister Juanika Young of Gilmer, Texas; two brothers Jason Butler of California and Ivory Kennedy of Houston, Texas; two nephews Alvin Slider of Gilmer, Texas and Patrick Pegues; nieces Ebony Slider, Shammion Young, and Precious Richardson all of Gilmer, Texas, and Alajia Slider of Dallas, Texas; seven great nieces Lazorria Slider, Daviya Slider, Zayla Slider, McKynzie Slider, Mauriea Williams, Mia Williams, and Drayah Richardson all of Gilmer, Texas; one great nephew Desmond Clark of Longview, Texas; boyfriend Seth Taylor and one special cousin Andrea Smith of Gilmer, Texas.
