Cecil Irving Warren was born to the late Stafford and Clara Timms Warren on October 9,1938 in Smith County Texas. He was the oldest of nine siblings. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, two sisters; Ernestine Attaway, Lois Dean; and a niece, Sandra Warren. Cecil joined Mt. Zion CME Church at an early age. After the establishment of the family church, he joined the Warren Chapel CME Church. He received his education from Dunbar and Jackson High. He attended Texas College and Tyler Junior College prior to enlisting into the United States Army. He retired from General Electric and Trane after thirty years of service. He united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Hendrix for a joyous forty-seven years. To this union one son, Andre' Warren was born. Cecil entered into eternal rest Saturday, February 4,2012. He leaves to cherish his memories; a loving and devoted wife, Mary Warren; a son Andre' (Shunda) Warren both of Winona, Texas; grandchildren; Taniqua Warren, Troup, Ladarrius, Kameron, Cey- Rodashia Warren all of Tyler; one great-grandson; Cameron Jackson, Troup; sisters; Lillian (Choice) Dudley, Lorene (Charles) Bell; both of tyler, Julia McNeal, Dallas, Texas; brothers; Marcellus (Laverne) Warren, Tyler; Jasper (Debbie) Warren; Whitehouse; Aaron (Linda) Warren, Shreveport,La; sister-in-laws; Mary Harris, Shreveport,La; Ruby Williams, Kilgore; Verda (Larry) Reese, Mesquite; Pearlie Warren; Fort Worth; two aunts; Cornell Cobb and Effie Mosley both of Tyler, Tx; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
