Carolyn Faye Cheney

Carolyn Cheney was born February 6, 1948 in Gregg County to the parentage of the late Claude and Elsie Ashley. She was a member of Wayside Church of God in Christ. She graduated from C.B. Dansby High School. She was a lady of grace and elegance. She was very determined and courageous in her battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parentsShe leaves. to cherish her memories seven siblings: Mildred Ashley, Claude Ashley Jr., Eloise Ashley, Monie Ashley, Marvin Ashley ( Lanetta), and Steven Ashley (Lisa) all of Kilgore, Texas. Veronica Tutaj ( Michael), Austin, Texas. Eight grand nieces and nephews, a host of great-grandnieces and nephews. A special thanks to Legacy Hospice, Dr. Larry Frase and Texas Oncology-Longview staff.
