Carl Ray Williams was born December 13, 1955, to the late Ernest Williams and Goldie Burns Williams of Kilgore, Texas. Carl went to be with the Lord December 13, 2021.

He attended North Chapel and graduated from Sabine High School Class of 1974. After graduation he went to East Texas State University College in Commerce, Texas. He moved to Los Angeles, California to purse his career. He was employed as an insurance salesman at New York Life, for several years. He decided later he wanted to work for another company, which was the Living Spaces Furniture Co. He enjoyed traveling to different countries. He had many friends and loved people and never was a stranger to any one always with a smile on his face.

He was a member of the West Angeles Church of God and Christ with Bishop Blake as pastor. He sang in the male choir and was an usher.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest Williams and Goldie Burns Williams, Rev. Sammie and Effie Allen; sisters Everlena Derrick, Lee Ann Allen, and Betty Johnson; nephews Clarence Eugene Williams and Clarence Dewayne Williams, nieces Dinisha and Zoranica Williams; Billy & Faye Stull.

He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter RayShanda Williams of Los Angeles, CA; sister Allie W. Elder of Longview, TX., brother Ernest Lee Williams (Carol), Doris Kenney (Fred) all of Kilgore, TX., Robert Allen (Ann) of Redondo Beach, CA; nieces Kathy Taylor (Elton) of Tyler, TX. and Stephanie Williams of Longview, TX. nephews Ray Davis of Longview, TX., Warren Wynn of Dallas, TX., and Walter Powe (Brenda) of Kilgore, TX., and a host of great nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
