Billy Carr

He was born May 26, 1941 to the parentage of the late Sam and Odee Carr. At an early age he attended Post Oak Baptist Church.He attended Post Oak Schooland graduated fromNorth Chapel HighSchool, he also attended Jarvis Christian College and served in theU. S. Navy where he retired after 20 years of service.

He died December 18, 2014 in Longview.He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clarence Carr.He is survived by his son Steve Carr of Inglewood, CA., his daughter Tina Carr McAlister (Kenneth) of Colorado Springs, CO.; two brothers, Marvin Carr (Audrey) of San Diego, CA., Wayne Carr (Veronica) of Sunnyvale, TX.; a sister, Karen Gray (Joseph) of Kilgore, TX.; grandchildren Breanna, Quinton, Jordan and Dominic Harder; great-grandchild Layla; sister-in-law, Jonetta Jones of Little Elm, TX., and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Billy's favorite saying: "I have things to do"
