Ann Marie, a strike, was born in Hartford Connecticut on October 20th 1945 to parents Mary O'Briant and William O'Briant. They were reunited in glory on May 28, 2025. She came into this world as a 5 lb baby given very little chance of survival let alone live such a beautifully long life so very full of love, meaningful relationships and just adventures that most people can never achieve in four lifetimes. She was proceeded in death by her sister Patricia Pederson, her mother and father William and Mary O'Briant, first has been Edward Robbins, brother-in-law Ernest Arnold Robbins, mother and father-in-law Clarence and Helen Oestreich; along with many other family and friends. She is survived by her husband Richard Oestreich, daughter Melissa Robbins, grandson Sean Kee, granddaughters Edie and Remy Oestreich, son Eric Oestreich, daughter-in-law Chelsea Oestreich, sister and brother-in-law Katy and Bert Langberg, brother Billy "Bicho" O'Briant along with a large extended family. As she always does she proved that life was on Ann's terms both in the way she lived and in death; we praise God for that strength resilience and faith she displayed daily.
She spent her growing up years in Madrid and Sevilla Spain where she graduated from Sevilla High School. It was there in Spain where she learned the language but also developed her deep love and compassion for people and their cultures way of life. One of her greatest joys was immersing herself in the different traditions in ways of daily life from people all walks of life, so that she could listen and learn from their wisdom and then in turn teach it to her family. After graduating from Sevilla Senior High School she moved to the states to attend Tyler Junior College. Later in life she received her nursing degree from Kilgore College and again spent many years loving and caring for people. It simply who Ann was.
She changed so many people's lives with her passion and conviction that she was never quiet about to respect all people and know that they had so much to teach and how much we could all learn from each other if we would just open our hearts.
During this time I know it would be her heart's desire for us to use this as an opportunity to minister to those around us; so we as her family are going to ask you all to love on each other and those who you see that know the love of the Lord.
