Aleta Ann Jones

Aleta (Letha) Ann Jones took her last breath on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the age of 51. Aleta Jones was born January 10, 1967 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
During her teen years the family moved to Texas where she attended Kilgore High school. She was active as a Kilgore High School High Stepper and played many sports. She graduated Kilgore High School as Class of 1986. Aleta was very artistic and talented in the knack of braiding hair, art work, wonderful sketched drawings, and sticky fingers. She was a debonair dresser and an accomplished traveler. Aleta was also known for her ability to cut a rug. Her most famed painting was one of Garfield which hung on her bedroom wall. It read, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It read a simple message in which would portray her lifeDont judge a book by its cover and leave God to do the judging.
She was preceded in death by her father Jimmie Jones, baby boy Darrell Jr., Grandparents on both sides, and beloved aunties and uncles.
She is survived by her parents Lafayette (Big Daddy) and Patricia Herndon(Mom,)- children Theodore (Teddy) Walters, Patricia (PJ) Jackson, Ryan Walters, Josh Orange, Iesha White, Malaika Bolton, Malaisha Cartwright (and a few more) -- Siblings-Linda Jones, Kelly Jones, LaSandra (San-San) Pee, Rochelle (Rhody) Pee, Raimondo Little Ray Coppa, and Maria Coppa (Wee-Wee) Cook. She is also survived and loved by a hand-full of beautiful brother-in-laws, sister-in-law, son-in-laws, grandchildren, nephew, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. (Too many to count.)
