Aeriel Le'Shea Samples Popkie

Aeriel Le’Shea Popkie ~ beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 after a brief illness.  She attended school in Kilgore & Austin, Texas.  She attended Kilgore College and LeTourneau University.  She was employed at Tyson Foods in Springdale, Arkansas.  She was dedicated to her work as Director of Organizational Change & Enablement.  She loved her co-workers like family.

Aeriel cherished her family.  She would tell anyone in earshot about her children.  She would tell you her family and relatives were the two loves of her life. She loved with reserve and gave of herself without hesitation.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Claude & Elsie Ashley, Bobby Samples, Aunts Bobbie Jean Samples, Carolyn Cheney and Uncle Claude Ashley, Jr.

She is survived by her husband Joseph (Joe) Popkie and parents Michael Samples and Veronica Krall (Michael).  Her children Ethan Samples, Jadon Holte, and Aniston Holte also her faithful traveling companion Rocky (dog), bonus children Carley Popkie, Laney Popkie and Preston Popkie.  Her brothers Tyler Tutaj, Deonte Samples and sister LaTasha Samples.  Her grandmother Amy Jean Samples, Uncles Kevin Samples, Monie Ashley, Marvin Ashley, Steven Ashley, Aunts Mildred Ashley, Eloise Ashley, Lanetta Ashley and a host of cousins, nieces & nephews and relatives.
